Amstrad CPC Expansion Backplane Board x4 Mother MX4 - 464 / 664 / 6128 and PLUS

This backplane board allows 4 external expansions to be plugged in to the Amstrad Centronics or Edge Connector 50 pin slot on the rear of the Amstrad CPC 464/664/6128 or Amstrad 464/6128 PLUS computer.

Great for connecting extra external RAM expansion units (for example: Amstrad CPC 512k RAM Upgrade Expansion for 464+ and 6128+) or running other external expansions like the M4 board or PACE RS232 etc. This product itself only allows the connection of multiple expansions and doesn't actually add extra RAM or other capabilities to your computer by itself - it is just for creating more expansion ports on your Amstrad CPC or Plus home computer.

NOTE: This product also includes a ribbon cable hence why it is a bit more expensive than just the backplane alone - the ribbon cable allows you to connect this board to your Amstrad, available either in PLUS Centronics style or CPC Edge Connector - please select which cable you require and which Amstrad model you are using.

This is a prebuilt kit which is ready-made, tested and working from v1.10 design of Revaldinho CPC RAM (https://github.com/revaldinho/cpc_ram_expansion).
