Amstrad 6128 PLUS Floppy Disk Drive Emulator BRACKET MOUNT Gotek USB. This product is just the mounting bracket itself, no Gotek or floppy emulator is included (we do sell them separately).

Adaptor for mounting a Gotek floppy disk usb emulator drive in your Amstrad 6128+ computer.

These are 3d printed so have a few rough edges but as you can see in the photos, they look very good and are a very secure and non-destructive way to mount your Gotek drive. No mods, cuts or alterations to your Amstrad casing are needed.

Allows easy insert of USB stick and nice placement of the Gotek buttons making it easy to press them and also see the display.

Comes in white recyclable PLA plastic.

The design is based on and modified from: www.thingiverse.com/thing:2876318 if you need to see extras photos etc, we updated this design to use the normal Gotek display instead of OLED as well as changing the fixing hole locations so it fits the PLUS model instead.

This should fit well but some slight careful sanding or filing may be needed due to slight variations in printing or old Amstrad cases warping/cases being screwed together slightly tighter/differently etc. Similarly filing to fit the Gotek display perfectly may be required.

Important Notes:

This does not fit "CPC" or standard 6128/664 computers, it only fits newer Amstrad 6128 PLUS style Amstrads. Please see our other products for the standard Amstrad CPC 6128 Gotek bracket.

We also sell Gotek drives pre-flashed and ready to install. However note that on Amstrads and other 3" drive computers that they need to use different power cables and ribbons to other computers.

DON'T JUST POWER UP THE GOTEK ONCE MOUNTED IN THE BRACKET, OR YOU MAY BREAK YOUR GOTEK DRIVE, MAKE SURE TO MODIFY AND HAVE THE RIGHT RIBBON CABLE AND POWER LEAD READY FIRST.

This product is to fit the Amstrad 6128+ or "PLUS" Gotek internal bracket, we also sell other Amstrad and Sinclair brackets as well Amiga A500, A600 and A1200. Please make sure to buy the correct bracket for your system (photos may show a different model).
