Founded in 1972, Atari were well known for many hit arcade games such as Star Wars, Missile Command and Gauntlet. They conquered the home market with the Atari VCS/2600 console and had success with the Atari ST range of Computers. Unfortuantely Atari hit troubled times with the release of the powerful Lynx handheld system and the first 64 bit console in the Atari Jaguar.
