Tatung Einstein TC01 or 256 Floppy Disk Drive Emulator Gotek USB complete fitting kit. This product includes the 34 > 26 pin adaptor, the Gotek floppy emulator drive, OLED display, fitting screws and front faceplate (we do sell them all separately too if needed).

Adaptor and complete fitting kit for swapping your internal floppy drive with a Gotek floppy disk usb emulator drive in your Tatung Einstein 256 computer (Please see our other products for the Tatung Einstein TC01 variant which we also sell).

The faceplate/bracket part is 3d printed, so has a few rough edges but as you can see in the photos, they look very good and are a very secure and non-destructive way to mount your Gotek drive. No mods, cuts or alterations to your Tatung Einstein 256 casing are needed. Comes in black recyclable PLA plastic.

Allows easy insert of USB stick (not included) and nice placement of the Gotek buttons making it easy to press them and also see the display.

The design of the bracket is our own custom design especially for the Tatung Einstein 256 computers or TC01 models (they are different designs so please choose your correct version). These are the best ones available.

Important Notes:

DON'T JUST POWER UP THE GOTEK ONCE MOUNTED IN YOUR COMPUTER, OR YOU MAY BREAK YOUR GOTEK DRIVE, MAKE SURE TO MODIFY AND HAVE THE RIGHT RIBBON CABLE AND POWER LEAD READY FIRST. THE INTERNAL TATUNG EINSTEIN POWER AND DATA RIBBON WILL PLUG AND PLAY EXCEPT YOU MUST SWAP THE 5v and 12v POWER PINS, THE GOTEK IS 5v ONLY SO MUST NOT BE POWERED WITH THE 12v WIRE. (Just plug the floppy power in upside down!)
